Workspace Creation

The first page within the Engine Management module is dedicated to Workspace Creation. Workspaces are critical areas where data analysts can execute queries, create tables, and develop views tailored to their specific needs. These workspaces are designed to support both Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and ad-hoc analysis, providing a flexible environment for data exploration and experimentation. The Unified Honey Engine offers two distinct types of workspaces: Personal Workspaces and Team Workspaces.

1. Personal Workspace

The Personal Workspace is an isolated environment provisioned for individual users on the platform. This workspace is designed for analysts or data engineers who need a dedicated area to perform their tasks without interference from other users. To provision a Personal Workspace, the administrator simply enters the user's email address. Once submitted, the Unified Honey Engine automatically creates the workspace, granting the user exclusive access to develop, test, and analyze data independently.

2. Team Workspace

The Team Workspace is designed for collaborative efforts within a single team. This workspace allows a group of users to share resources and work collectively on projects. To create a Team Workspace, the administrator inputs a list of email addresses (separated by commas) corresponding to the team members, along with the team name. Upon submission, the platform provisions the workspace, enabling the team to collaborate efficiently within a shared environment. This setup fosters teamwork and ensures that all members have access to the necessary data and tools to achieve their project goals.

By providing both Personal and Team Workspaces, the Unified Honey Engine supports a wide range of use cases, from individual research and development to collaborative team projects. These workspaces are essential for maintaining a flexible, scalable, and secure environment for all users on the platform.
